Mary J. Rocco is an attorney practicing law in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. She currently operates as a solo practitioner specializing in Domestic Relations and Family Law. She recently relocated to Illinois from her job in New York City where she was employed for over twelve years as an Assistant Supervising Attorney for the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) in their Family Court Legal Services Division. She has worked extensively litigating cases in the New York Family Courts dealing with such issues as child welfare, custody, permanency, and domestic violence. In 2007 she received the prestigious Family Permanency Award from ACS which recognized her hard work and dedication to her job.
Mary earned her J.D. in 2002 from the University of San Diego, her M.S.W. in 2010 from New York University and her B.A. from Villanova University in 1999, where she was a member of the Dean’s List. She is admitted to the bars of Illinois and New York. She is also an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association.
Mary is also spends a lot of time volunteering and helping those less fortunate. Since 2002 she has been a member of the PV Volunteers, and organization that provides various services such as home repair, meal services and mentoring to youth throughout the country. Not only is Mary a staunch volunteer with the PVs, she also serves on their Board of Directors.
